Epic Industries has been producing online gambling games, especially slots, for over 10 years. Although the company is based in the UK, everyone works remotely and we have no office. We hate commuting, but we love to foster connection as a team despite the distance. We choose our team carefully, and only work with A-players so that as a team of less than 10 people we are agile and elite. We focus on doing the jobs we love with massive impact, instead of the bloat, red tape and office politics that can exist in larger organisations. Who we're looking for
We are looking for a passionate and talented 2D Game Artist to join our remote art team and help us craft visually stunning, Epic slot games for online casinos. You will work closely with the Art Director and Game Producer to create eye-catching characters, immersive backgrounds, and polished game assets. We’re ideally looking for someone with solid experience in the gambling industry who understands the rhythm and visual language of slot games. You should be confident in following and maintaining a defined art style, ensuring visual consistency across the project. We value strong rendering skills — the ability to convey material, texture, and depth, along with a solid understanding of light and color to create atmospheric, rich, and visually “juicy” games that truly shine. You’ll be joining a close-knit experienced team, who care deeply about quality, creativity, and great teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Create visual concepts for new games, based on provided themes, layouts and moodboards
- Execute illustrations and game elements at a high quality: symbols, icons, characters, backgrounds, ui elements
- Collaborate with Art Director, Game Producer and developers in search for creative ideas and ways to implement them in game
- Provide artistic support for developers - exporting and fixing art pieces by request
- Maintain product alignment, style cohesion and quality bar for game art
Requirements
- Awesome drawing and illustration skills
- General game concept and design skills
- Strong visual skills and understanding colour theory, composition, anatomy, light and shape
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to work remotely
- Fluent English
Desirable
- Experience in iGaming/Slots
- Experience in creating animations in Spine, After Effects
Availability
Full time, 5 days a week, 7.5 hours per day
Open to UK workers (PAYE employee), or non-UK independent contractors (hourly rate)
